FIRGELLI APPLICATION CALCULATOR

Mobile Display Actuator Calculator

Design a height-adjustable TV on a mobile presentation trolley. Roll the stand into place, then raise the screen along its guided mast so an audience can see it. The trolley and castors stay on the floor; the TV and moving mount travel together.

How the mobile TV trolley lift works

A column lift moves the TV carriage vertically between a low transport position and a higher presentation position. This calculator starts with a FIRGELLI Electric Column Lift Actuator and checks its force, travel and mounting length against your measurements. The fixed mast guides the moving screen; the base and castors support the trolley.

Measurements for a mobile TV stand

Enter the vertical height adjustment, the TV weight and the weight of the moving bracket or carriage. Record the retracted and extended column mounting spaces between the same mounting points. If cables, guides or seals resist motion, enter their measured opposing force.

The screen's center-of-gravity offset helps identify guide loading, but it is not added to the column's axial lifting force. For a normal upright trolley, keep the lift direction at 90°.

Choosing a column lift actuator

Compare a model's rated lifting force, available stroke and published retracted and extended lengths. The default example uses a 25.6-inch-stroke Electric Column Lift Actuator when it fits the entered load and mounting space. Other actuator families remain available to compare. Check mounting hardware, cable slack, duty cycle, travel stops and the trolley's tip resistance before building.

What does this calculator solve?

The force calculation sizes the actuator for the moving TV and carriage along the entered lift path, including the entered resistance and design allowance. The animation shows the TV rising on its wheeled trolley; it does not imply that the actuator propels the trolley or that a chosen base has passed a stability test.
