Hidden Secret door in the Library using Linear Actuators to open and close the door

We like to share customer projects that are novel and unique. In this project the customer wanted to slide out at Door before it swings open. This is needed because they wanted the door to appear as a hidden door when its closed and still look like part of the wall. This project uses 3 Actuators, 2 are used to slide the door mechanism away from the wall by about 4" to ensure everything is clear, then the third Linear Actuator is used to swing the door open by 90 degs.  The concept is quite easy really when you look at it in more detail, we would recommend using an Arduino controller to program the sequence however if you wish you could just have 2 switches, one to operate the 2 actuators that slide out the door then one switch to operate the door that swings the door open 90 degs.  Products used include:

2. https://www.firgellirobots.com/collec... (Arduino controller if desired  to program the actuators to work in the correct order)
